Overview

TechPulse (“we”, “us”) publishes technology news at www.nexivo.org.in (the “Site”). This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, why, and the choices you have. We do not require an account to read anything on the Site.

Information we collect

Server logs

The Site is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosts, Vercel processes technical request data to serve and secure the Site, including IP address, browser type, referring page, requested URL, and timestamp. We do not use this data to build profiles of individual readers.

Analytics

We do not use third-party analytics. Advertising is served by Google AdSense, which asks for consent where the law requires it (see “Cookies and consent” below). We do not sell personal information.

Email

If you contact us by email, we receive your address and the contents of your message, and we keep it only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the correspondence.

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use them for advertising through Google AdSense.

  • In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google’s certified consent management platform shows a consent message before advertising cookies are used. You can accept or refuse, and ads are personalised only when you consent.
  • Outside those regions, ads may be served using cookies; you can limit them through your browser settings or the Google Ads Settings link below.
  • You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to display advertising. Where consent applies, or where personalised advertising is used:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to the Site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • Google uses the DoubleClick DART cookie for this purpose.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

Opting out does not remove ads; it makes them non-personalized.

Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google’s certified consent management platform asks for consent before advertising cookies are set or personalised ads are served. You may change or withdraw that consent at any time via Cookie settings. Withdrawal stops future advertising cookies; it does not affect the lawfulness of processing that already occurred.

California residents

Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because personalized advertising may involve sharing identifiers with ad networks, you can exercise the opt-out using Cookie settings in the footer or the Google Ads Settings link above. We do not knowingly sell personal information for money.

Articles link to external sources and companies. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. Visiting them is at your own discretion.

Children

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention and security

Server logs are retained by our host according to its standard retention policy. We keep email correspondence only as long as necessary. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change how data is handled, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting advertising or consent will be reflected in the consent message as well.
